LOONA is a twelve-member girl group formed by Blockberry Creative through a pre-debut project that, from October 2016, introduced its members one at a time alongside solo singles and sub-unit releases. The full group debuted on August 20, 2018 with the EP [+ +] and its title track "Hi High". Their 2020 single "So What" earned their first music show win, the EP [12:00] became their first entry on the Billboard 200, and in 2022 they finished as runner-up on Queendom 2. After contract disputes with the agency in 2022 and 2023, the members moved to other companies, and the group has been on an indefinite hiatus since.
