ZEROBASEONE (ZB1) is a boy group from WakeOne that was put together through Mnet's 2023 survival show Boys Planet, where the top nine finishers won a spot. They debuted on July 10, 2023 with the EP Youth in the Shade and its lead single "In Bloom"; the EP sold more than two million copies, a record for a K-pop debut album, and the group went on to sweep the rookie awards of their first year. When the original project contract ended in March 2026, Zhang Hao, Ricky, Kim Gyu-vin and Han Yu-jin left, while Sung Han-bin, Kim Ji-woong, Seok Matthew, Kim Tae-rae and Park Gun-wook continued ZB1 as a five-member group.
