aespa is a four-member girl group from SM Entertainment, made up of Karina, Giselle, Winter and Ningning. They debuted on November 17, 2020 with the single "Black Mamba", whose music video set a 24-hour view record for a K-pop group debut. Hits such as "Next Level", "Supernova" and "Whiplash" made them one of the leading groups of their generation, and "Supernova" was named Song of the Year at both the 2024 MAMA Awards and the Melon Music Awards. Their first studio album, Armageddon, came out in 2024.
