EXO is a boy group formed by SM Entertainment that debuted on April 8, 2012 with the single "MAMA", starting out as two sub-units, EXO-K and EXO-M, that performed the same songs in Korean and Mandarin. Their first full album XOXO, carried by the hit "Growl", passed one million copies sold, something no Korean act had managed in twelve years, and several of their later studio albums also became million sellers. EXO won Album of the Year at the MAMA Awards five years in a row, and in January 2026 they released their eighth studio album, Reverxe, led by the single "Crown".
