TWICE is a nine-member JYP Entertainment girl group formed through the 2015 Mnet survival show Sixteen. They debuted on October 20, 2015 with the EP The Story Begins and its lead single "Like Ooh-Ahh", and went on to be called "the nation's girl group" in South Korea. With You-th took them to number one on the Billboard 200 in 2024, and in 2025 they became the first K-pop girl group to headline Lollapalooza in Chicago. In 2026 Jeongyeon, Chaeyoung and Jihyo moved their solo work to other companies while staying in the group.
