82MAJOR is a six-member boy group launched by Great M Entertainment as the company's first boy band. Their name joins South Korea's international calling code with the word "major", reflecting the goal of becoming a group that represents Korea. They released the pre-release track "Sure Thing" and then debuted on October 11, 2023 with the single album ON and its song "First Class". In 2024 they were nominated for Artist of the Year and Best New Male Artist at the MAMA Awards, and in September 2026 "Like Fire" from the single album HEAT gave them their first music show win on Show Champion, almost three years after debut.
