Privacy policy

What we collect

  • Hosting: Vercel (USA, servers in Ireland) receives your IP address, browser and the page you open, to deliver the site. Logs are kept only briefly.
  • Spam protection: your IP address is held in memory for up to 10 minutes to limit requests, never saved.
  • Visitor stats: Vercel Web Analytics counts pages, referring sites, countries and device types. No cookies; visits get an anonymous code that changes daily.
  • Bias Vote: a cookie (kw_voter, 5 years) holds a random code so you can change your vote. The database (Turso, stored in Ireland) keeps that code, your pick and the time. Nothing links it to you.
  • Your browser only: your theme choice and your place in the group list.

Other services

  • Photos, logos, fonts and music video thumbnails load from our own server.
  • Instagram posts load from Meta, which receives your IP address (Meta's policy).
  • Ticket and YouTube links lead to other sites with their own policies.

Abroad & your rights

  • Vercel and Turso are US companies. Data is stored in Ireland (EU); anything reaching the USA is covered by the Swiss–US Data Privacy Framework or standard contractual clauses.
  • Ask what we hold, or have it corrected or deleted: hello@biasontour.com. For your vote, include your kw_voter code.
  • Complaints: Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (edoeb.admin.ch).
